Beginner Animation Tutorial, My Tutorial!!!

Here is a tut by me for a scanbar animation

1. Open up your signature or banner document.


2. Make a new layer Layer>New>Layer


3. Make a rectangular selection using the rectangular tool(make sure your on the new layer not the background) remember to make it wide for the whole document and it should be on right on top

4.Right-click>fill with the color of your desire.

5.Right-click>deselect

6. Make a new frame ( animation works in ps CS2 or if u have an older version pls use imageready for animation )

7. On the second frame click on the rectangular layer, select the move tool and move the rectangle to the bottom:


8.While the second frame is selected click the tween button and use these settings:

Previous Frame
Frames to add: 15
Layers: All Layers
Parameters: Tick All

9. Now go back all the way to frame one. Make a new frame (refer to step 6 if don't know how).

10. Take the new frame and drag it all the way to the end so that it is now the last frame.

11. Now that the last frame is selected tween it.( same as step 8 )

Add-ons
Go to frame 1 right click on the scan bar layer and click blending options change it to overlay with the opacity of 50-60%
It will look better and u can play around with blending options and get various results
